Inside the classroom

This is what class day looks like

For us, licensing is personal.

Licensing changed our lives. A state license opens up incredible opportunities, and it offers those same opportunities for you! We’ve stood exactly where you are standing now, and we teach you the things we wish someone had taught us.

You can do this! We are 100% for you! And we can’t wait to meet you.

So we had to make it simple.

We have taken all the steps to pass the exam and get our license, and we found it’s hard to know what to do next! That’s why we started Illinois Public Adjuster Institute, to help you pass the exam and get licensed.

We made it simple, so you can get licensed and build a new future.

I'm one of the founders of Illinois Public Adjuster Institute, with over ten years of helping public adjusters get licensed. I am a proud mom to two boys. When I'm not cooking with them or playing soccer against them (which really means them destroying me at soccer), I spend most of my time helping people like you get licensed and start a new career. At some point in my journey, I was likely right where you are. I've been through so many of the challenges you face, from the exam to all the questions of what paperwork to file and where. I've helped so many people get their license, and I'm here to tell you two things: One, it's worth it! Don't give up. And two, make sure you surround yourself with the right people. It will make all the difference. …And if you haven't figured it out yet, I'm one of them. Reach out to us. You'll know as soon as you speak with us.

I'm a business owner at heart, and I've seen firsthand how a state license can open doors. I'm proud to have founded Illinois Public Adjuster Institute. Personally, I love fishing, boating, and mostly traveling with my amazing wife, experiencing all kinds of new foods and events. And, also personally, I founded our institute for this moment, the one where you decide to get your license and take your first steps into a new world of possibilities. I promise you this isn't just a job. We cannot wait to see you thrive!

Frequently asked questions

Who founded Illinois Public Adjuster Institute?

Illinois Public Adjuster Institute was founded by Dante Sabel and Dalia Doherty.

How do you get an Illinois public adjuster license?

Illinois doesn't require a pre-licensing course, so the exam is the main step. You book it with Pearson VUE and get your result at the test center. Then you get fingerprinted, line up your $50,000 surety bond and approved contract form, and apply on NIPR with the $250 fee.

What makes Illinois Public Adjuster Institute different from other public adjuster schools?

We treat our students like family, and we stay with them long after the exam. Passing is the first job, and we teach exactly what the Illinois public adjuster exam asks. We help with the licensing paperwork and bring in trusted partners for every stage of your business.

Why did you start Illinois Public Adjuster Institute?

Because the Illinois public adjuster exam is hard! It covers a lot of ground, 100 questions of it. We know how it feels to face a test like that on your own. So we started Illinois Public Adjuster Institute to make it simple. We teach you exactly what the exam asks, and we're with you every step of the way. We can't wait to see you get licensed!
